All the milk was processed and produced at the Hewitt Family farm until 1950. At
that time the dairy cattle were sold and a new plant was built at 128 King Street
East in Hagersville, where we are still located to this day. In 1980 this plant was
replaced with a larger, modern processing facility needed for an expanding market.
Further expansions and renovations took place in 1991 and 1992 to accommodate
larger refrigeration storage areas, larger office spaces, expanded warehouses and
a bottle filling operation.
The popular Hewitt's Dairy Bar is located north of Hagersville on Highway #6,
where it opened in 1962. Some of this country's finest frozen dairy products
are manufactured at this facility, offering more than 50 fine ice cream flavours.
Our Natural Food Store staff have been serving the local community for over
20 years, offering a wide variety of natural health and personal care products,
as well as bulk foods and candy. Visit the store from Monday to Saturday between
9:00am and 5:00pm to see our knowledgeable staff.
